Where I’m from:
I was born in CA and raised in Idaho.
Family:
I am married to the greatest guy and together we have lived all over the US for jobs, schooling and adventures. We have 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. I am excited to bring Singers Company into our lives and share its joys and blessings with my daughters.
Interests:
I have loved the performing arts all my life. I grew up in a musical family with a dad who had been something of a musical star in his younger years and who passed the theatrical passion on me. I directed my first play in 3rd grade and spent years singing and performing in musical groups, children's chorus and local theater.
I love teaching children, gardening, yard work and going on adventures with my husband. Together we climbed Mt Kilimanjaro with our oldest daughter and look forward to exploring the beauty of Alaska with our family. I enjoy reading good books with my kids and discovering the people, places and cultures of the world- past and present.
Schooling:
I have an Associates degree in International Relations from Ricks College and a Bachelors degree in Education and English as a Second Language (ESL) from the College of Idaho.
I am excited to bring Singers Company to Alaska and our Eagle River community. I firmly believe in its mission to offer a positive place for girls to find their voice and develop the confidence to use it through the joy and beauty of music.

Interests:
Music has always been a treasured part of Jessica Dutton's life. She moved to Northwest Arkansas from Lubbock, Texas to study music at the University of Arkansas and has a masters degree in music education from Boston University. Jessica's primary instrument is voice, but she also plays the piano, clarinet, ukulele, and just enough guitar to be dangerous. She has taught music, choir, voice, and piano in Northwest Arkansas since 2004 and loves sharing music with people of all ages.
She directs and teaches at Jubilee Music, coordinates educational outreach with the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, writes for the NWA Moms Blog, and enjoys sharing music with her church and community.
In between chasing tiny humans, the Duttons love to travel the world, make music together, and enjoy a fine cup of a coffee. She believes that all children (and all people!) are musical and deserve the opportunity to experience music-making in a positive, supportive environment, and she hopes to provide a place where every student can find her special place to shine.

Family:
I am married and have four children, two of which are girls that participate in my own Singers Company.
Interests:
First and foremost I love Singers Company. I also enjoy cooking, the beach, and spending time with my family.
I founded Singers Company after a lifetime of experience as both a student and teacher of music and dance. While growing up in the small town of Merced, California, my mother, Kathy Callister, started a girls' performing group so my sisters and I could experience the joys of learning to sing, dance, and perform.
As a teenager, I was required to prepare for and fund the tuition portion of my future college education. Because of my interest and experience in music and dance and my reluctance to give up my vacation for a "summer job," my mother suggested I start my own performing group for little girls. I realized it could be the perfect way to earn extra money while remaining focused on my studies and other responsibilities. So I started Singer's Company in 1994 and have never stopped.
I love these young girls and the energy for life they have. We sing, we dance, we laugh " they bring such joy to my life and our community. There is so much good that comes from these groups that I felt it was time to share it and make a difference in this world!
Where I’m from:
Born and raised in Merced, CA.

I have been married for 15 years and have 4 beautiful children: Luke (10), Olivia(8), Tate (5), and Noel (2). Olivia has been in Singers Company for 3 years and loves every second of it!
Interests:
My perfect day is just playing with my kids and husband at the beach or the pool. I also love to run and exercise! My kids would say that mommy loves to bake because something yummy is always cooking in the oven!
Schooling:
I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
Singing and dancing has always been something that my mother encouraged my 3 sisters and I to do! My mom and her friends started a singing and dancing group similar to Singers Company and had me jump right in at age 3 and perform with my sisters and friends. As shy as I was, the directors were able to help me grow and gain confidence in a talent I didn't know I had..I could actually sing and dance, and I really loved it!!! Some of my favorite memories are from this group. And, of course as a mom, this is something I want for my two daughters as well.
I have been lucky enough to work side by side with the founder, Katie Parker, for the last 10 years with her Singers Company group. I have learned so much and have been able to witness some of the most amazing moments of girls gaining confidence in their voice as well as their growing excitement to perform on stage! One of the things I love most is the friendship that grows between the girls as they practice and dance together each week. The kindness, love, and encouragement each girl shares makes teaching so wonderful for me! Every year I am constantly amazed with the wonderful group of girls that we teach in our Singers Company group. It's definitely a fun group of girls that I want my daughters to be with! I always laugh with Katie after each show that I can't help but tear up when the girls all sing together. There is something so magical when these girls are all in costumes, singing with that darling smile on their faces, that just makes my heart melt! Parents come up and say thank you, and I have to correct them and tell them, no, thank you for allowing me to be with your sweet daughters each week. They bring me pure joy!? My life has been so blessed because of Singers Company. I truly love every moment I get to be with these amazing girls! As a mother and teacher, I am so excited to help these girls see how special they truly are and to be a part of sharing their beautiful voices!
Where I’m from:

Family:
I have three wonderful children and have been married to my amazing husband for 12 years. I have been homeschooling my youngest daughter and we go on many adventures together. She has been a Singers Company girl in Miss Kristie's RSM class. Every week she is so excited to attend class and the FUN she has during class is wonderful, I just fell in love with the program.
Interests:
I love to be active and outdoors as much as possible. I could be at the beach, the mountains, a local park or on a trail. Music, singing and spontaneous dance parties happen often in our home. I enjoy keeping my plants alive, creating edible food to enjoy and anything crafty that challenges me to learn something new.
Schooling:
I have been a hairstylist for 27 years and an eyelash extension specialist.
In the fourth grade I wrote in my 'what do you want to be when you grow up'? book that I wanted either to be a hairstylist or a teacher. The greatest reward of serving my clients has always been seeing that smile on their face. I'm very excited about the middle school class 'I believe in me'?, which goes over new hairstyles each week. Now I’m looking forward to being a teacher for our Singers Company girls!! My goal is to create an environment to instill confidence and strength of character into every little girl. This program is so much more than just singing. It brings so much joy to the community and encourages ALL the girls to have a voice.
Where I’m from:
I grew up here in Merced, and am fortunate enough to be able to return with my family after living in other areas for 15 years.
Family:
I have four wonderful children and I love being their mom!
Interests:
I love to learn, read, dance, and homeschool my children.
Schooling:
I have a B.S. in Elementary Education, and continue learning every day.
I have been a Singers Company Director for 15 years, and I LOVE it! I absolutely love spending time with these adorable girls each week. I am a singer, dancer, teacher, and performer--which fit perfectly together in directing Singers Company.
I love watching little girls become more confident in themselves and showing them how wonderful they truly are by providing a safe environment where they are accepted and loved. I love to sing and dance with them each week at rehearsal, because it's fun! I love when we perform for others, because we bring happiness to their lives.
Our community needs strong and happy girls and women who are confident that they can make a difference in the lives of others. That starts right here in Singers Company. Each week when they come to class, I teach these girls that they are important and amazing. As they take in these positive messages, they become stronger and happier as they grow up, which then blesses their families and our community. All through song and dance! We also bring joy to our community every time we perform. I always tell the girls that our goal when we perform is to make people smile--and that's exactly what happens!
Every girl needs to feel important, because she is! I know that each hour I spend with each girl is crucial--everything I do during rehearsal and shows influences how each girl feels about herself. Girls who feel great about themselves can do GREAT things! I love helping shape these girls for their futures. Girls who 'grow up' in Singers Company are confident, happy girls!
Where I’m from:
This shouldn't be such a hard question to answer but I'm technically from many places! I was born in the suburbs of Chicago, moved to sunny Laguna Niguel, finished high school in Henderson, NV and then graduated from two colleges (UCLA and AMDA) in Los Angeles. While challenging to move so much during my early years, I have such happy childhood memories of living in Illinois, California and Nevada and wouldn't ever trade those life experiences! Today, I feel my strongest ties now are to Southern Orange County where my husband and two darling girls and I reside.
Family:
I think I am the luckiest mom and wife in the world! I have two beautiful girls, Mady (age 4) and Mikah (age 2) and a wonderful husband, Floyd, who is the BEST. COOK. EVER. If it weren't for Floyd's serious culinary skills, my girls would eat an unbalanced abundance of turkey sandwiches (my forte in the kitchen as my husband kindly suggests!). How lucky am I to be the sous- chef in the family, happily supporting my husband's passion!?! I just adore my sweet family and they bring such joy to my soul. I am very close to my mom and dad and grateful for all their wise counsel and their overwhelming support of my endeavors in the Arts. Also, I am so lucky to be squished in the middle of my two wonderful sisters, Karen and Sam. My sisters are my closest confidantes and best friends.
Interests:
I wear a lot of hats in my life but first and foremost I am a loving wife and mommy to my girls and if spending time with my family was a bona-fide interest, then that would be my first choice! In addition, I have a deep passion for the performing arts and have spent 25+ years performing in musicals at various theaters throughout California. I am such a musical nut that my entire wedding theme was Broadway Musicals " everything from giving each table a Broadway Musical name rather than a boring table number and a customized fictitious Broadway Playbill for our Program entitled, For Time and All Eternity.? It was awesome. Aside from performing, I love to play piano, watch movies and visit with good friends.
Schooling:
- Through the constant support and encouragement from my family, I was fortunate enough to nurture two of my passions/careers through education. To nurture the left side of my brain, I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Economics and emphasis in Accounting and am currently a CPA and Partner with a public accounting firm in Newport Beach. And to nurture the ever-present creative side of my soul, I am a proud graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), a musical theatre conservatory in Los Angeles and New York.
I am so grateful to be a part of Singer's Company. The idea of teaching girls how to share their voice, to let them know that their voice matters and can be used for great good in this world and to grow up to be confident young girls through the medium of song and dance is really very exciting to me! I have had the privilege of teaching music to almost 150 children through service in my Church and musically directing productions at various theaters and I have seen the joy that the Arts can bring into their lives " I have seen it in their countenances! I have seen this also first-hand in my children. Mady and Mikah love to express themselves through song and dance. We are always singing in our home, car, grandma's house, everywhere! My favorite part of the day is when I tuck them in at night and my girls ask me to sing them a song. As of late, their favorite is Someone to Watch Over Me.? It doesn't matter how tired we may be, we sing this song each night " together!
Being a mother of two darling girls, I have learned that my girls flourish when they feel loved and feel good about themselves and when they can share their thoughts and opinions. I believe Singer's Company is a perfect medium for young girls to flourish and I look forward to sharing this with you and your families!
Where I’m from:

In our free time, we enjoy hiking as a family, swimming in our pool, and watching the show Survivor!

Coaching cheer is truly one of the funnest, most rewarding things! I love seeing kids faces light up when you talk to them about their day or when they master a new skill you’ve taught them! I can’t wait to experience this with my Singers Company girls too! I also really enjoy taking and editing pictures, working on DIY house projects, and gardening! Schooling:
I studied Psychology and worked in the medical field for several years, on the ambulance, in the ER, and in medical offices such as Veterinary, Optometry, Chiropractic and Internal Medicine.
I have been singing my entire life. I can't remember a time when I didn't have a song in my head or wasn't singing. I also grew up doing all kinds of dance. I never participated in any musicals or chorale groups because I was very shy. Finally in my late teens, I took voice lessons and started to sing in church. I use to make up songs as I sang them when I was very young. When I saw my daughter doing this, who was also very shy, I knew I had to find a place that would nurture and support her desire to sing. I knew we had found something magical after her first Singers Company class. She was happy and sang the whole way home. Over the next few weeks I saw my daughter start to come out of her shell and I knew we were in the right place. I also knew that I wanted to be a Singers Company director some day. I adore children, they are special little people and I love to see the world through their eyes. They have such fun personalities and their innocence is so sweet. I am delighted to be a Singers Company director and look forward to seeing your girls blossom and grow!

I am a planner and love traditions, but I'm also learning to be as spontaneous as my husband. We spend most of our time supporting our children in their sports, scouts and school activities, and I get to spend my extra time immersed in musical capacities, such as Directing our Church Choir, teaching voice lessons and participating in choirs, and singing for various activities.
I have been singing since I can remember. I was also a competitive gymnast during elementary school, and later used my tumbling skills in high school cheerleading. I'm a songwriter, recording artist and performer. I released an independent pop album, The Break of Dawn, in 2000. I've sung with a Jazz Band, a Blues Band, and earned 2nd Place in Wannabe Wicked at Universal Studios in honor of the Broadway Musical Wicked. I have over 20 years experience coaching children in Cheerleading, Dance, Gymnastics, Jump Rope and Voice. I am so excited to Direct Singers Company and continue to share my love for singing and performance with these awesome girls!

I am a Singers Company director because I love Singers Company and have seen it work in my own daughters' lives. I have had all 5 of my daughters participate over the past 9 years and they have loved it! Their confidence in their ability to perform has increased through opportunities to sing and dance and perform solos in performances. The confidence which my girls have gained has translated into other areas of their lives. I was involved in a singing group similar to Singers Company as a child and the confidence which I gained as I had opportunities to both sing with the group and perform solos has remained with me throughout my life. I want to give other girls the same opportunities which I had and my daughters have had. I am very excited about working with my 2 oldest daughters who are both amazing singers and wonderful directors.
I have had the opportunity to be the leader of a children's group through my church over the past 3 years where I spend time each week teaching and inspiring over 100 children between the ages of 3 and 11. I LOVE being with them each week and I love teaching. To see their faces as they grasp new concepts and sing new songs is priceless. I love that I can use the things that I have learned as a leader in this setting to be an effective Singers Company director. Most of all, I just love to have FUN and this is the best way for these young girls to find themselves and to just have a lot of fun with friends singing and dancing.
There is a lot of joy which comes from music. You can't help but feel happy when you are singing or dancing. It is great that these girls get to experience that joy at a young age and that they get to feel how music can bless their lives and the lives of those around them. The fact that Singers Company allows every girl to shine makes it that much more amazing. Every girl can feel like she is a star. There is no competition with any of the other girls in the group. It is a wonderful thing. I know that Singers Company has blessed the community that I live in as the girls spread joy to each member of the audience at each of their performances. You can see it in the faces of moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, friends and family as they watch these little girls perform and show off what they have learned. I am excited for Singers Company to have that same effect in Rancho Santa Margarita and I am grateful that this amazing opportunity is reaching girls across the country.

I was born in Provo, Utah and raised in Seattle, Washington. I have spent the last 13 years living in Southern California.
Family:
I have been married for 14 years to the love of my life and together we have 4 beautiful children, 1 boy (8) and 3 girls (6, 3, and 2).
Interests:
I love to exercise, teach, read, and play with my children.
Schooling:
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Microbiology and got my teaching credential. From there I taught High School Biology in LA County for 4 years before having children. I LOVED teaching and am thrilled to be a director with Singers Company and be working with children again.
My oldest daughter started Singers Company when she was 4 and it was amazing to watch her blossom from this shy, not-willing-to-talk-to-adults girl into a confident, energetic one. I have seen what Singers Company did for her self esteem and am thrilled to be able to share this wonderful program with the girls in our area. I feel so blessed to be a part of this program that has impacted my family and look forward to sharing wonderful moments with the girls of the Beach Cities area.
Where I’m from:
I grew up in Utah. I lived in California for a few years and have been in Colorado for over 12 years now!
Family:
I have four smart, sassy, independent, kind, and independent daughters ages 15, 13, 10, and 6. That's enough to fill my own class!
Interests:
I have such a love for life and seem to not be able to take it all in fast enough! I love music, traveling, meeting new people, having spontaneous dance parties with my girls, biking, hiking, swimming, and camping (except for my phobia of bears!) I love to continually learn through reading and try to make more time for writing. I love to be active, although I only recently have taken up running because I have great friends who make that dreadful task seem fun.
Schooling:
I have a bachelor's degree but can't stop learning about life through experiences, reading, and other people. I am an advocate for teaching girls how to become strong, caring, independent women. I became aware of Singers Company after two of my daughters signed up for a class. We adored our director and fell in love with the program. I learned quickly that it was something different than the other dance and performance companies we’ve tried in the past. I love that it’s not only non-competitive, but helps the girls mentor and build each other. The focus is on being your best self, trying your hardest, and caring about others – all while having a blast! These values are exactly what I love to invite into my life and pass on to not only my girls, but yours too!

Interests:
I love music! I love all things about music! I love to listen. I love to sing. It is a very large part of my life! I love to read. I really, really love to knit! Every spare moment I get to myself and then some I am knitting. If I can listen to a book as I knit I am really happy. I love to have my kids around. We love good food and watching movies, playing games and hanging out together.
I am a Singers Company Director because I know that my own daughters will love it! My older girls did something similar years ago and they have such great memories of doing it! I don't know of anything in the area like this so I decided to become a director.
I love that Singers Company is a positive experience for all the girls involved. There is no competition for a lead. Everyone gets a chance to perform. It is such a refreshing thing to see. Girls encouraging each other to do their best! It builds confidence and helps them make friends! Plus it is really really fun!
I think Singers Company can make a difference in my community because there isn't anything like it in this area. Nothing that is a non competitive environment. Plus, it is such a great experience for girls. I know this because I was in a similar group in High School and I really had such a great time and made great memories with wonderful girls. I am just excited to enrich lives of girls through music!
I am just starting but I am really excited!!!!!
Where I’m from:
I was born and raised in the Philippines. In 1991 I enrolled at Brigham Young University-Hawaii and have lived in Hawaii ever since, except for 4 years when we lived in Virginia while my husband attended law school.
Family:
I come from a family of 10 children. We all sing and play the piano. My father was my first piano teacher when I was 5 years old. I've been married to my best friend Aaron for 19 wonderful years and we have 6 children, 2 boys and 4 girls.
Interests:
I am passionate about music. Aside from my Singers Company group, I have 25 piano students, a combined boys and girls choir and a women's A Cappella group. I love to dance, sing and play the piano, and have the most fun when I can do it all together J I love cooking, scrapbooking, throwing parties, and spending time with my husband and kids.
Schooling:
I have an Associate's Degree in Piano Instruction and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have taught private piano lessons and choir groups for the past 20+ years.
I started Singers Company in September of 2012 and have enjoyed everything about it! I have seen my girls transform from being shy and tentative to being confident, happy, outgoing, and talented performers. Singers Company is such a wonderful program for girls. I am having as much fun as my girls.
As a young girl, I always loved performing in front of an audience, whether dancing, singing or playing the piano. I've been part of musical plays and musical productions all through my high school and college years and really enjoyed myself. Although I work, I'm glad I am at home doing things that I love to do- teaching music!
Where I’m from:
My name is Jody, and I grew up on a farm in Waterloo, IL.
Family:
I have 2 daughters, Leah 12 & Jenna 1. I love spending time with my girls, whether it’s swimming, riding bike, going for walks, or watching a movie together.
Interests:
Some of my favorite things are summer nights, fall campfires, all Italian food, ice cream, a good chick-flick, all things beach, and quoting lines from Friends!
Schooling:
I graduated from Waterloo High School, and received my Bachelors in Marketing from St. Louis University.
I have loved music and singing since I was a little girl. I grew up singing around the piano with my 3 older sisters. I sang in chorus all through school, and was a member of the Show Choir. I made All-State and All-State Honors my junior & senior year of high school. I received a music scholarship to attend St. Louis University and was selected to sing with the SLU Mastersinger’s Choir. This elite group traveled to Spain & France on a concert tour as well as performed locally around St. Louis. After college, my sister and I co-founded an invitational choir within our community called Hometown Harmony. We have 45 members and perform 2 concerts per year. We’ve always tried to incorporate children into our concerts. It brings me joy to watch a child sing and perform, but it’s truly magical when a child transforms inside and their confidence begins to grow. That’s when their passion kicks in! I’m so excited to bring Singers Company to the children of my community!

Schooling:
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a minor in Vocal Performance from Emmanuel College and a Masters of Education in Educational Counseling from Clemson University.
I am thrilled to be a Singers Company Director. I know this program has made a positive impact in the lives of young girls. These qualities will take them far and they will make this world a happier and better place.

I am so excited to be a director of Singers Company! From the moment that I heard about it, I knew that I wanted to be part of this great organization! I grew up in a home filled with music. My mother is an accomplished cellist and has played in the Loudoun Symphony for many years. I took piano from the time I was eight and was involved in choirs and school performances throughout my childhood.
Now that I am a mother, I have a great desire for my children to grow up with the same opportunities that I had. I also want to share this opportunity with others. We live in a wonderful family-friendly town. I feel so strongly that this will be such an amazing program in this area. One that will influence so many for good.
Where I’m from:
Hi! I’m Natalie Glynn! I am a New Hampshire native, raised in the small town of Gorham, New Hampshire along with my 2 sisters. I lived there for most of my life until 2011, when the circus called! My husband and I ran away with the circus in 2011 when we joined up with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Gold Unit. He played bass in the show-band, and I taught the K-2 students as well as the nursery children. That has been one of the most exciting adventures of my life! We traveled the country, were in a side band that performed in many of the different towns we visited and got to be in a family that would forever change our lives! When the show closed we returned to NH and I taught at the Whitefield Elementary School until our big move to Las Vegas in 2018. I am loving all this sunshine and thoroughly enjoying not having to shovel feet of snow in the winter!
Family:
I am enjoying married life with my incredible husband Danny. So far, our family consists of our two cats, Alice and Figaro and our dog Alfie. I am the youngest of 3, and Dan is the youngest of 6. We have nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, parents and a grandmother in various states. We get to visit with everyone during the winter holidays together. I am fortunate enough to have summers off as a teacher and am able to see many of our relatives over the summer. Even though there is great distance between us physically, we remain close.
Interests:
I love singing, playing my ukulele at home and in my classroom with my kindergarten students. I enjoy cooking, watching movies and spending time with my family. I am incredibly passionate about teaching and working with young children. Snow cones at the Purple Penguin are my favorite weekend treat on Sundays! Elvis Presley is my favorite singer of all time, I have been collecting/loving his music since I was around 4 years old. My favorite place to visit is Storyland in Glen NH. I still get a season pass there and go as much as possible with my family during the summer break!
Schooling:
I attended Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH. I originally intended to go to school to teach music, but changed my path to Elementary Education K-8 and am so glad I did! I get to teach all subjects and incorporate music and movement into everyday routine. I graduated from PSU Cum Laude in 2009 and I have been working with children both in a traditional and a non-traditional setting.

Hi! I'm Melissa Smith and I'm a Southern California girl raised in South Jersey. I love the sunshine and beaches out west, and miss the leaves crunching under my feet during a beautiful fall October day! My family has lived in Las Vegas for 13 years, and I have happily adapted to year round sunny skies, the rugged beauty of Red Rock Canyon, and being able to make it all the way to the beach in California in just a few hours during our hot summers!
Family:
My husband and I have been married for 19 years and I'm a busy mom of 4. In fact, my 3 girls are the reason I found Singers Company in the first place! I am so grateful to get to do this with my favorite little ladies, and expand our “family" to the friends we’ve made along the way!

You can find me in my spare time putting everything aside to finish a good book. I'm also a happily proclaimed geek who loves mythology, Harry Potter, Marvel movies and all things science. I’m lucky to be part of the Las Vegas Master Singers, the choir in-residence at the Smith Center for the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Singing with them at the Smith Center is a dream come true— and the music just fills me with appreciation for the beautiful things in life! I’m excited to share my love of music and the fun and joy of performing through Singers Company!

I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Health Promotion and Education. Over the years, I've worked in the non-profit sector with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and owned a small business with a storefront. Let's have some fun together!

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida to a Bolivian mother and a die hard New York Yankee fan father. We moved to New Orleans, Louisiana when i was 14 years old and at 18 years old i traded the southern charm for the majestic mountains of Provo, Utah. In 2005 I moved to LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, where i currently live and I LOVE it!
Family:
I am married to the man of my dreams and we have 3 cute kiddos. Kate, Lucy and Mason. They keep me young and are the joys of my life!
Interests:
I love spending time with my family and my friends. I love going on dates. I enjoy experimenting in photography and capturing the simple things in life. I love to sing at the top of my lungs and i love to dance like nobody is watching [along with my girls]. I like to craft and sew. I love the summer and I love pool parties. I like to bake and I'm always up for buttered popcorn a good chick flick. I love to dream, I love fresh flowers and antique shops. And i love to learn new things and challenge myself!
I'm so excited to be a part of the Singer's Company family! Raising my daughters with confidence, poise, happiness and the love for music and dance have been on my mind before I even had children and i feel like Singer's Company teaches them this. It allows these beautiful girls to be themselves, make new friends and have fun while learning the beauty of singing and dancing. Singer's Company is the perfect platform to raising beautiful, confident girls who contribute happiness to their own life and lives around them. Even the simple smiles of these sweet little girls transform others and promote positive attitudes in everyone around them. I love everything that Singer's Company represents!
Where I’m from:
I am originally from Southern California but have lived almost half of my life outside of California: in Arizona, Utah, Pennsylvania and Nevada! We most recently moved from Reno, Nevada to Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Family:
I am number 5 of 7. The greatest joys of my life are my husband of 4.5 years, Ty, and our 2 daughters, Gwen (age 2) and Sage (age 1).
Interests:
My interests have evolved over the years as I have journeyed through the many varied phases of life. I used to quilt and sew all of the time during high school. Now I'm lucky if I get a chance to sew on a button. I still love reading novels but I don't quite read as many books during the year as when I was a younger gal. I have always loved travelling and studying languages. I do find great joy and pleasure in exercising. I mainly frequent Zumba, spin, and ballet classes. During seasons other than summer, I also love a good jog outdoors. Hiking is my newly discovered passion. I take any and all opportunities to get up into the mountains. My two most proud (and scary) hikes have been to the tops of Mounts Whitney and Shasta.
Music has always been and will always be an important part of my life. I grew up in a very musical family, with a mother that emphasized the importance of uplifting music in daily life. I firmly believe in the great influence good and joyful music can have in a young person's life. Music has taught me discipline and hard work. It takes a lot of patience and practice to conquer an instrument (vocal or otherwise). I was blessed to take advantage of music lessons throughout my youth. My main instrument is the cello, but I can get by on the piano as well.
Singers Company gives girls such a perfect and organized opportunity to have the power of good and uplifting music influence their daily lives. I am honored to be a part of such an enterprise. I look forward to working with the girls in Summerlin North!
Schooling:
College is the best. I was blessed to attend Brigham Young University where I graduated with a B.A. in International Studies and a double minor in history and Middle Eastern studies. I continued my education at Villanova University Law School where I graduated in May 2012 with a J.D.
Where I’m from:
I'm a Nevadan through and through! I was born in Fallon, NV then at a young age my family moved to Ely and then into McGill where I claim I'm from! I love Nevada and it is soooo good to be HOME again!! I'm so happy to be living right next to the Beautiful Ruby Mountains today! I was raised on a Ranch and am so grateful for the many opportunities and experiences I have gained from having a Ranching background! I currently enjoy being a Ranch Wife and raising our 6 kiddos with this amazing lifestyle!
Family:
I have been married to a hardworking and very devoted man for the last 15 years (how is that even possible)!! I am so lucky to have married the man of my dreams! He has taken such good care of me and our 6 beautiful children. We are even now with 3 boys and 3 girls!!! (Shad 13, Wade 11, Keeli 10, Leona 7, Zane 5, Oriana 4 mo) We have been immensely blessed with the ability to live and work in an environment that allows our family to spend so much time together. We firmly believe that a Ranch is the best place to raise a family, teach and learn the value of hard work and that working is fun. Our motto is "If you don't love it, why do it?" We truly do love every part of what we do and are very grateful that we can include our family while doing it!
Interests:
I love being a wife and mother. I enjoy watching my family have a good time. We love pretend play, reading a good book together, working hard and seeing the fruits of our labors. Some of my hobbies include sewing, quilting, crocheting, capturing memories, reading, riding horses, roping, branding, jogging, and witnessing Our Fathers creations unfold before me. The beauty of the earth never ceases to amaze me. These are just a few, life is so good and we have much to be grateful for!
Schooling:
At an early age I knew that I wanted to be surrounded by babies and children. I babysat for many different families at a very early age. I knew that my calling in life was going to involve children and influencing their lives for the better. I started my degree in elementary education but The Lord had different plans for me and I ended up getting married and bringing His sweet spirits into this world. I am so excited to begin this journey with Singers Company to teach the girls that they are important and that their voice matters. The knowledge that I hope to instill in each and every one of them is that God loves them and wants them to "SHINE".
Where I’m from:
I live where the cutest girls on earth live! Las Vegas! I grew up in Fresno, California. With a mother who taught me how to sing and perform!
Family:
I am married to an amazing husband, of 16 years... and we have 6 children! Life is beautiful! My oldest daughter, Suzanne, is 13 and is my assistant director for Singers Company! She was in my first Singers Company years ago and now is teaching by my side! I love it!
Interests:
Aside from playing games and hanging out with my kids, I also love to go running, take yoga classes, dance classes, go hiking and camping... oh, and make chocolate chip cookies! OH! And go out to dinner with my cute husband every once in a while!
Schooling:
I graduated in Exercise Physiology, with a double minor in Music and Dance. I was a collegiate cheerleader for 5 years, and LOVED every second... although I about ruined my singing voice!
I am a Singers Company director because I LOVE music, and I LOVE little girls!!! It is the perfect environment to have fun, and do something that is meaningful, and lasting. I grew up performing on stage my whole life, in a company just like Singers Company, and I feel that it gave me my greatest foundation to build my dreams upon and it continues to bless my life even now!
I love Singers Company and how it gives young girls the opportunity to discover how amazing they really are! I love watching 'the light' click on inside these girls as they sing and dance, and truly feel happiness from what they are doing. It gives them such great confidence to know that they do hard things... like learning tons of songs and performing in front of 200 people! They start to thrive as they learn that what they offer... with their music and smiles... is something that makes others happy, and leaves the world a better place! I love it!!! Music is so powerful when used in the right way!
Our community needs that bright, happy feeling Singers Company brings to our audiences when they perform! At every performance we have ever had... people come up to me with tears in their eyes to thank me for doing something so special. Singers Company touches hearts in a real way. Little girls, smiling faces, and wonderful music... it is just magical and so rewarding!
I have learned that all little girls want to feel good about themselves, and feel loved. And when you give them that love, it comes back to you one hundred fold. My best friends are from the ages 4-11 and I LOVE IT! They are so loving, and genuine. Singers Company is a lot of time and energy, but I end up being the one who is blessed the most. I love each of those girls so much!!!
I also feel that Singers Company strengthens families! It makes me smile to think of how the girls must feel when their families watch them adoringly, and praise them for all their hard work and great performance. It is such a wonderful thing to hear about the girls performing their songs at Family Christmas Parties or Family Reunions, or teaching their songs to younger siblings. So cute!!! They are sharing the joy of music right within their own home, I love it!

I decided I wanted to become a Singers Company Director as I watched my girls learn and perform a musical number from Annie this summer at a family reunion. They loved learning it, they loved singing it, they loved performing it, and they are still singing it 5 months later. That is the power of music. I want to be able to share the power of good music with other girls and continue developing it with my own.
I love everything about Singers Company. I love singing, I love performing, I love practicing.

I set out to become a teacher, but took a random law class and loved it so much that I switched to studying law and got my paralegal degree. Although soon after graduating, I became a mom and took that on full time. Ironically, I never used my paralegal degree, and I now teach! I started homeschooling my kids two years ago and have absolutely LOVED it! We are busy busy busy, but wouldn't have it any other way.

If my kids are complaining about doing their jobs, all I have to do is turn on a great dance party song and it will usually snap them out of it!
I am so thrilled to be a part of Singers Company because there is nothing better to see girls gain confidence through singing for the pure joy of it! I love that its not about competing, but gaining confidence through finding their own voice. When the girls perform and they see the joy they bring to their audience, it lights a fire in them and they become life-long lovers of music! I can't wait to get started!!

I participated in band, choir, and drama programs during my secondary school years. I loved performing in musicals and singing in choirs. In High School, I really focused on piano. As a teenager I decided my reason life would be worth living would be to have a happy marriage and family of my own, so my family is my everything! I've been blessed to have married the first love of my life, who I met online just after I graduated from high school. We've been married for 14 years and our love is still growing strong. I've had the privilege of bringing 5 amazing children into the world, 3 boys & 2 girls. We hope to continue to grow our family through adoption throughout the years to come because we believe every child deserves a loving home environment! Of course while we know it's impossible to provide that for every child in need, we feel driven to make that difference in the life of as many individual children that God sees fit to send into our lives.
Interests:

I am a mental health advocate and volunteer teach a NAMI Family to Family class on mental illness. I am interested in different cultures and would love to travel the world. I love singing in choirs and have always dreamed of becoming an actress one day. And of course, I'm also pretty passionate about teaching. I educate my children at home and I'm hoping to prepare them to become inspiring people within their own circles of influence as they grow throughout life.

I graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education.
I absolutely love Singers Company and how it teaches our beautiful girls to shine, both inside and out! I truly believe that every girl is important, beautiful, and unique. My own daughter has been a part of Singers Company for several years. I have seen her grow in so many ways from this wonderful program. The confidence it has instilled in her will be a strength for the rest of her life! Singers Company is such a positive and unique program that instills happiness and confidence in our girls in a non-competitive way, and I just love that so much! I truly believe that our little girls can change the world through their influence for good!
Where I’m from:
I grew up all over the country as an Air Force brat! I loved my childhood! My parents made every move an adventure, and we got to see and experience so much culture through the years.
Family:
I am the oldest (and only girl) of four children. I met and married the love of my life in college. He has the biggest heart of anyone I know and makes me laugh every day of my life. We have three children: 2 boys with a girl sandwiched in the middle.
Interests:
I love outdoor activities, music, baking, reading, traveling, crafting, and spending as much time as I can with my family! We love to make even the mundane an adventure!
Schooling:
I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently teaching Kindergarten. I love incorporating music into my classroom and put on a few small productions throughout the school year. I also volunteer weekly in my own children's classrooms and teach children through my church group, as well as teaching these sweet girls in Singers Company. I just can't get away from it; teaching is in my heart and soul!
I've been singing and dancing for as long as I can remember. My mom put me in my first ballet class at 3 and tells stories of me running around my backyard singing and dancing as a young child. I especially loved musical theater in high school and singing in various audition choirs at BYU during my college years. I now love singing and dancing with the girls in Singers Company and sharing my love of music with them!
I also love Singers Company. I fell in love with Singers Company when my own little girl joined years ago. She's on the quieter side, and I have seen her confidence grow through being in this group. I was amazed when she stood up at that first performance and sang a solo with confidence. The pride on her face afterwards made my heart swell. As I've directed my group through the years, I have seen this happen to many girls: Girls who won't even look me in the eye during the first couple of practices, stand in June and sing a solo in front of a crowd of 200 people and don't even bat an eye at it. It's pretty incredible to watch!!
We live in a world where girls are constantly being told they're not good enough. They're not skinny enough. They're not pretty enough. They're not talented enough. Our girls ARE beautiful. They ARE special. They ARE good enough. Just the way they are! Singers Company helps these girls develop confidence in their own beauty and in their own talents. As a Singers Company director, I hope to instill a confidence that will last a lifetime because they are amazing; and confident girls turn into confident women, who can make a huge difference in this world!
Where I’m from:
I was born and raised in Provo, Utah. Lived in Provo most of my life.
Family:
I come from a small family and was raised an only child. As a teenager I loved and adored children, and I knew I would have a big family of my own someday. I married my high school sweet heart in 2004, and we now have 7 amazing children, 4 girls and 3 boys. My oldest is 10 and my youngest will be 1 in July. My life is all about children and I absolutely love it.

I love to organize and decorate my home, sing and entertain, play volleyball, host parties and just have fun with my family. Overall, anything fun and a little silly is right up my alley.
Schooling:
Associates degree in Medical Assisting. Before having a family, most of my schooling and interests were all about music, choir, band, and marching band. Music has been rooted in me. Sharing this passion with my children and other children is very important to me.
Most of my interests revolve around my family and spending time with them. We love to sing together, and the older my kids get, the more they love to sing with each other. It's turning into a fun family hobby. I love playing with my kids and being silly with them. I have a deep love of being a mom, so much so that I have a small daycare. I feel like I am a mom to 8-10 kids on a regular basis. I love everything that I do - playing with the kids, cleaning, laundry, organizing my time and my house and reading the scriptures. Sometimes people ask me how I do it, how I keep it together. Well one thing that I do very regularly is incorporate music into my day. We have theme music to keep things fun, happy and exciting. I couldn't imagine a world without music. It is a great and wonderful blessing that we get to share with each other. There is so much that music can do for everyone which is why I am so excited to be a part of singers company and share this blessing with these girls. What a fun journey this will be with building confidence, feeling happiness, and giving the girls a safe environment to be themselves. We will have a blast while getting our groove on!

Singing makes me happy. I’m excited to have the chance to inspire that same joy in young girls, to help them blossom and find their own voice. Through singing, through music, through friendship, through joy, girls will grow to believe in themselves, and then go on to make a difference for good in the world. The confidence they gain in their early years will be an anchor to them throughout their entire lives!

Getting lost in a good historical novel is always fun for me! I also really enjoy creative outlets, like crafting, gardening, and graphic design. I am somewhat of a health nut and enjoy exercising and making green smoothies!
I have always enjoyed dancing. I started dancing when I was 3 years old, and continued to dance on teams all through high school. In college I taught country western swing and line dancing. Now, my girls and I love having impromptu dance parties at home when the tunes are turned up!
Schooling:
I have a degree in Website Design and Animation, which has been awesome because I was able to work from home doing freelance design while being a mommy!
I became a Singers Company director because I saw a big positive change in my own daughter after her first semester performance. When we learned we were moving from that area, to a new city that didn't have a group close by I knew this was something I wanted to share with my new area! I have spent a lot of time volunteering with this age group in different ways, and I know that gaining confidence, and friendships is so important for young girls! I love watching them perform and feel good about what they have accomplished!

Where I’m from:
I was born in Denver, CO. My family moved to Salt Lake City, UT when I was 3.
Family:
I am the middle of five children born to a Brazilian mother and American father. Classical music has surrounded me as long as I can remember: My dad played classical piano (and only listened to classical music and opera), and my mom was a classical ballerina " eventually opening her own school of classical ballet in our home.
Interests:
I am extremely passionate about music. I'll admit that one of my inner nerds is that I love choral music (I was in a lot of singing groups growing up) " I especially love barbershop music! Singing is far and above my favorite musical expression, but songwriting, playing the piano, and dancing are other ways in which I love to experience music.
Outside of music, I am very active. I love to ski, run, walk, hike, swim, play tennis (not that I'm very good at all of these activities), or anything else that involves exploring or being outdoors. I would like to say that I have a healthy sense of adventure.
I also love spending time with my two awesome nephews: Luc and Ike. We love playing board games, shooting our homemade bow and arrows, going to the park, and just running around together. They are my little buddies!
Schooling:
Bachelor of Science Business Marketing, University of Utah (with honors).
Becoming a Singers Company Director was like a sock finding its long-lost mate. It blends everything that I am passionate about together in one: music, dance, character-building with our youth, and being a little silly.
Throughout my life, I have gravitated toward working with youth. Whether it was through church or community outreach, I have been working with youth since I was a teenager. I have also spent the last several years of my career in the human and leadership development fields. I absolutely love teaching the principles that help people and organizations communicate better and lead happier, more balanced lives. I have always felt that these skills need to be taught at a much younger age; hence why I am so excited about the Singers Company. It is not only teaching a skill (music and dance) but also teaching interpersonal skills, and building the character of our young ladies.
Music and dance have been the air I breathe all of my life. I am ecstatic about being a Singers Company Director because it allows me to share this passion, energy, silliness, and warmth with these wonderful girls.
I have seen first-hand what Singers Company can do for a community. First and foremost, Singers Company provides an atmosphere where every girl is accepted just as they are. I have seen girls flourish into happier and more confident young ladies. I have seen close friendships form, I've seen the joy their performances bring into the lives of parents and communities, and I've seen how much fun they are having in the process.
It's been said that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world?, and I truly believe that. These girls will eventually be leaders in their own lives, families, and communities. Strong and confident women literally rule the world?, and I am committed to being one of the hands that builds the amazing women of tomorrow.
Where I’m from:
I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. After college my husband and I moved away for 9 years for work. We lived in California, Texas, then again in California because we missed it so much. Three years ago we move back to Utah to be closer to family and we have loved every minute! I really missed my family and the mountains!
Family:
I am the youngest of 6 kids so I always wanted a big family. My wonderful husband and I have been married for 17 years and we have 5 awesome kids (2 girls, 3 boys). They constantly amaze me with their talents, intelligence and their ability to forgive and love others. We love to play games and sports together, to go hiking and camping and to watch movies. Spending time with my family is one of my favorite things!
Interests:
I have so many things that I am interested in, I love finding and developing new talents. I have always loved singing; I sang all the time as a child. I'm sure I drove my family crazy because I would sing the same parts of songs over and over. I still love singing and I find myself making up songs about everything, even brushing your teeth. I also love drawing, painting, crafting, exercising, dancing, hiking, camping, baking, gardening, nature....there are so many things. I love being creative and teaching others to be creative.
Schooling:
I went to the University of Utah, Utah Valley State College (the days before it was a University), and finally finished up at BYU. I received my BA in Visual Arts. I have taught children for most of my adult life through church, preschool and art lessons. I love children and teaching them brings me so much joy. I love to see the pride that comes from learning something new, overcoming fears, or from accomplishing something that is hard.
I am so excited to be a part of Singers Company! My daughters were in Singers Company in California and I fell in love with the program. I witnessed a wonderful change in their confidence. They went from being too shy to sing or talk in front of people to singing a solo with confidence. They made life-long friends, we were so sad to move away from Singers Company. I am grateful for this opportunity to be a director. I love seeing the joy that music and dance brings to people. Not just to the performers, but also to the people enjoying the performance. It almost always brings tears to my eyes. I can't wait to bring Singers Company to the sweet girls of Saratoga Springs and to our community as we share our voices.
Where I’m from:
Salt Lake City, Utah

Schooling:
Bachelor of Arts--Political Science, Brigham Young University; Associate of Science--Legal Studies, Utah Valley University.
Why are you a Singers Company Director? Music and dance were rays of sunshine in my childhood. I am a Singers Company Director because it allows me to share that light with these wonderful girls. In return, my life is enriched with their smiles, laughter, and improved confidence.
What do you love about Singers Company? I love Singers Company for MANY reasons, but I'll just name a few:
- The Singers Company repertoire is truly inspiring! It has been tried and tested for decades, and I have seen its wonderful effect with my own eyes!
- I love Singers Company because it combines singing and dance in a group setting--which multiplies the fun!
- Finally, I love that Singers Company is non-competitive and that every girl, whether she's a beginner or a pro, can grow and shine with us. The following quote totally captures our mission: "Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those who sang best."--Henry Van Dyke
How can Singers Company make a difference in your community? First and foremost, Singers Company builds happier & more confident girls--girls who will someday lead communities and families of their own! Second, the girls broaden their horizons by getting to know new friends in their town that they may have never otherwise known. And finally, their performances at community venues brighten the neighborhood!
What have you learned from your time as a director? From my time as a Singers Company director, I have learned that encouragement and laughter in a class setting can absolutely transform a child's life.

I was born and raised in Odessa, TX. I always joke that it is a good place to be "from," but not where I belong. I am a recent transplant to the beautiful St. George. My husband has just started as a Psychiatrist for Intermountain Health Care. We absolutely love Southern Utah!!
Family:
My husband and I have been married for 10 years! I can hardly believe I am old enough to be married this long, but time flies when you're having fun! We have two amazingly beautiful and clever kiddos; Noah is 6 & Nathalie is 2 (going on 20). I always dreamed of being a Mom & it's certainly a dream come true.
Interests:
I enjoy exercising, but my favorite pastime is traveling and seeing new things. While I never imagined being an avid skier, my husband's persistence paid off, and I now love to snow ski. We love to take family trips during Ski season; Noah has been skiing for over 3 years and Nathalie got on skis for her first time this last December.
Schooling:
I received my MBA from Baylor and my BS in Business (Emphasis in Entrepreneurship) from the University of Colorado.
I was immediately drawn to Singers Company's mission to inspire confidence through sing and dance without the pressure of competition. All little girls deserve the chance to shine & it simply takes someone believing in them and providing a fun opportunity to unharness that untapped potential. My daughter inspired me to become a Director with Singers Company; She is always dressing up, dancing, singing, and being Fabulous! I don't ever want her to lose that confidence - like I once did as a little girl. I want to encourage her and every little girl to be herself in a world that is persistently trying to change us.
Where I’m from:
I was born and raised in Wells, Nevada. I lived in Las Vegas for 12 years before settling in Stansbury Park, Ut.
Family:
I have been married to my best friend and love of my life for 13 years. We have 3 crazy wonderful children that make life a fabulous adventure.
Interests:
I love to craft, eat, dance, boat, shop, and spend time with my friends and family doing just about anything.
Schooling:
I have an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts.
I fell in love with Stansbury Park my very first visit, and knew it was the perfect place to live and raise a family. I'm so proud to call Stansbury Park my home and to offer young girls in the community such a fun, positive, uplifting, and creative outlet. I'm so thrilled that my own girls will grow up enjoying and benefiting from being apart of Singers Company.
I have been involved with dance and music since I could walk. I studied and competed in dance for 10 years before turning to cheerleading in high school, and continuing to cheerlead on scholarship for two years in college. Besides my current gig of singing in the car with my kids, I have been on various school and church choirs. I believe there is little else in this world that can bring you as much instant joy as singing and dancing.
I love everything about singers company! It is a difficult challenge in the world today to raise young girls into confident, strong, and successful women. Singers Company gives young girls the foundation to grow in confidence, personal strengnth, and to succeed in so many aspects of their life. The best part is that it's soooooo much fun!!! Singers Company really gives little girls the chance to shine from the inside out!
Where I’m from:
I was born and raised in Syracuse, UT with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. My sisters were always good sports about singing and dancing with me in the kitchen, but my brothers took some persuading! J After I married my husband we lived in San Antonio for 7 years. And although we loved it, we are happy to be back in Davis County to raise our children near family.
Family:
I married my best friend 14 years ago and have been blessed with 1 boy and 3 girls. Now they are the ones that I grab to dance around the house!
Interests:
I love to spend time with my family, read, sing, dance, take pictures, and create anything pretty.
Schooling:
I graduated with my Associate's degree from Ricks College where I performed with Showtime Company for 2 years. I also received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University.
I have been giddy to participate as a director in Singers Company. Not only has music and dancing been a life-long passion of mine, but I have seen the good it has brought into the lives of my daughters. I looked for a long time for something that they could feel a part of that would be uplifting and bring confidence. Now, when they come home from Singers Company, they feel like they can conquer the world as they sing the fun new music they will soon be performing! I'm thrilled to bring this opportunity to many other girls. Because I believe that fun and enriching music combined with the confidence performing can bring will be a powerful skill/blessing that will benefit these girls through their entire lives.
Where I’m from:
I grew up in a Navy family and so I’m from everywhere! I have yet to live somewhere more than 3 years. I claim Florida because that is where my parents settled and also where I graduated High School and married my high school sweetheart. The Air Force currently has our little family in Nebraska and we love it here.
Family:
I am a wife to Zach and mom to Caroline, Owen and Grace. We are a military family and love finding the hidden gems in each place we call home. My daughter’s love for all things music is the reason I found Singers Company. She took some Singers Company classes in another area and her and I both fell in love with it!
Interests:
I love exploring the world with my kids and husband. Most days you can find me at our local library’s story time, at the gym, and/or making food at home with my kids. I love date night—it’s become so important for our marriage. I also love to do graphic design and watch Rays Baseball with my husband.
Schooling:
I got my Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a split minor in Graphic design and Photography from Brigham Young University—Idaho. Then later, I went back for my Master’s degree in Special Education from Liberty University. I love to learn!
I am so excited to bring Singers Company to Nebraska! It is so unique and I love all that it stands for. I know that our community and our girls will be better for it!
Where I’m from:
I would consider myself an Arizona girl but have also lived in California, Utah, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Germany before landing here in Washington.
Family:
I am married to a wonderful man full of creative ideas. We have four fabulously fun children (1 boy and three girls).
Interests:
I love doing anything with my family! We love to travel and explore, we also love to cook and bake. We love hiking, working in our yard and garden, and playing sports (most often tennis or soccer). We love board games and Friday Night Movie Nights at home. We love celebrating holidays and making parties out of just about any occasion. We love crafting and making messes! Once the kids are in bed I also love to read or watch a mystery show with my husband.
I am so excited to be a Singer's Company Director! We love to sing in our family! It is even a family rule that we can't sing at the table because we took too long eating meals! Music is such a wonderful part of life and so are children! I love volunteering at the school and coaching sports. To me Singer's Company goes beyond both of those pursuits to serve and is an even better opportunity to help bless the lives of young girls. It helps girls to develop talents, have fun in a creative, noncompetitive environment, and reinforces how special each one of them is. It also shows them how wonderful and happy life is when you add music, friendship, and positivity!
Schooling:
I have a BA in Humanities from Brigham Young University.
Where I’m from:
I was born in California and raised all over. My family moved to England when I was three, back to California and then, on to the great state of Texas when I was in High School. I have called the beautiful Pacific North West home for the past six years.
Family:
I am the oldest of four, and the mother of five, energetic, sweet and sometimes sassy children. I have been married for fourteen years, we have four daughters and a son, in that order.
Interests:
I love being a mom and doing fun things with our kids! When the sun is shining we like to be outside, hiking, biking, playing in the yard, swinging on the porch swing and taking fun/silly pictures together. I love planting flowers in my garden and making yummy food. From the time I was little I loved to sing and dance and have enjoyed sharing that gift with my children. When I'm not busy being mom, I love to travel, create beautiful things, relax with a good book, or blog, and catch up with my sisters and friends.
I was a Communications major with a minor in Psychology at Rick's College in Rexburg Idaho when I met and married my husband in the Summer of 2001. His graduate school training brought us back to Texas where we lived for 8 years before moving to Washington state.
With a lifelong love of music and theater, I have seen how music has enriched my life and want to share it with others! I have sung in various choirs and fulfilled my dream of performing on stage in The Sound of Music and Phantom of the Opera.
I've had wonderful opportunities to work with children since I was old enough to work and feel strongly that kids need opportunities to develop their confidence in an environment where everyone is encouraged to be their best self, and given an opportunity to shine! Whether it was teaching kids to swim, the love of music, or to express themselves through a character in readers theater, there are no words to describe that moment when a kid realizes "I can do this!", they blossom into confident and compassionate individuals that make great friends and leaders among their peers. My involvement with the youth in local children's theater during the past 5 summers has been so rewarding, summer time just wasn't enough! I am excited to bring Singers Company to our Community! The mission of Singers Company is to help every girl find her voice and blossom into the beautiful women they were created to be! I know that lasting friendships will be made and memories never to be forgotten as they develop their talents and are inspired through the gifts of music, dance and song. Come join us!
Where I’m from:
I was born and raised in Ronan, Montana.
Family:
I have an older sister (Linnea), a younger sister (Heidi) and a little brother (Jordan). My parents are Amazing, I have always been a Daddys girl! I now live in Kennewick, Wa with my amazing husband, Sean, and our 4 kids Joel & Ryan (twins), Luke and Megan.
Interests:
I am blessed to be able to Homeschool my kids and really love watching my boys play sports! I have always loved music and dancing! I was in a show Choir during HS, and enjoyed being in community musicals such as South Pacific. I later met my husband on tour with the Continental singers!
I decided to become a Director for Singers Company because I love singing, dancing, and also love seeing little girls lives changed through music and dance!
I love that this opportunity allows me to make some money doing something that I love to do! As a stay at home mom, this job gives me a lot of flexibility. I am able to teach every week, but I never have to sacrifice any time with my family. I also just love seeing those sweet girls each week. They are so cute, happy and work so hard. I just love them!
Our Holiday show that we did at one of our local Retirement Communities brought soooo much joy to those residents. The day after the show, I received a phone call begging us to come back. I also have several girls that started the year super shy and would have never sang in front of the other girls, a few months later, they are singing into the microphone, in front of crowds, and bringing so much joy to their families and friends. Very rewarding!
I have learned that there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a little girl who is super shy, turn into a confident performer. I have also learned that compliments and encouraging words mean the world to little girls and will always earn you a smile or a high five in return!
Where I’m from:
I grew up right here in good ol' Kitsap County, WA! I've lived several other places including Oregon, Utah, and Nevada but my sweet family and I moved back here to the Puget Sound as soon as we could because I'm a Pacific Northwest girl at heart. We love all the outdoor adventures we are able to have here and how we get to see the water and mountains everyday. Our favorite part of being back home is FAMILY! We have grandparents and great-grandparents and aunts and uncles to spend time with and love on our kids - it's fantastic!
Family:
I grew up with two wonderful parents and one much desired little brother who is 6.5 years younger than I am. I met my husband in 2008 while I was attending BYU and we were married in 2009. I feel lucky everyday to have him; he is a superstar husband and my best friend. We have 3 kids - 1 girl (6) and 2 boys (3 and 2) who are so fun and make us laugh everyday!
Interests:
My all time favorite thing to do is spend time with my "people". My friends and family make my world go round and nothing makes me happier than quality time with them! I love throwing parties and having game nights, swimming and being at the beach. I love traveling...everything about it - planning the trip, exploring new places, visiting old friends and making new ones, it's all fun! I have a serious passion for singing and performing. I grew up performing in any way I could. As soon as I could talk, I was singing. I started putting on family Christmas shows (whether my extended family wanted to watch or not!) when I was two years old and my love for music and performing just grew from there. Singing, dancing, piano, theater, I love it all!
I am ecstatic to be a part of Singers Company! The world needs more sunshine and this program not only brings that to our girls but to everyone around them! When I found out that Singers Company's main mission was to instill confidence into little girls I knew I had to be a part of it. I can't wait for our community to experience the magic that is SINGERS COMPANY!
